Go Green With Your USPS Certified Mail
We’ve all heard the concept about ‘The Paperless Office’. The idea and concept has been around for years. Getting the concept to actually stick is another thing. Many offices are filled with copiers, printers and fax machines, and the friendly USPS letter carrier continues to bring us more paper each day.
It is impossible to be entirely paperless in your workplace. As an Account Manager at Certified Mail Envelopes I am frequently asked by prospective clients how they can eliminate the old fashioned Green Card and still have the legal proof their Certified Letter was delivered. Our Certified Mail Envelopes with software will enable you to access your tracking information electronically with our patented Electronic Tracking Confirmation (ETC). We archive and store all of your Certified Mail tracking and delivery history for 7 years. What this means for you is that you no longer need to bury yourself under a mountain of paper. Instead pull up the Electronic Signature and other USPS tracking history about your Certified Mail letters and print only what is needed and print them.
With our software we have ‘Custom Fields’ available to you. We suggest you taking advantage of these fields. If you have an account number, matter number, etc that is unique to your letter, put it in one of the search fields. This will link your Certified Letter with your unique customer information and help you pull up your records quickly. When you are ready to track your letters, just type in the account number in the search box in ETC and click on search. Any letter mailed under that account number’s tracking information and Electronic Return Receipt will be pulled up.
