These metallic sugar pearls are coated in a non-toxic, but non-FDA-approved for consumption metallic food coloring. This food coloring is approved as edible in most other countries (like Canada and Europe) but not yet in the United States. While many people use these sprinkles on their treats, we cannot label them as edible and they are sold for decorative use only. But you can use them how you wish! Contains 2.5 ounces of gold dragee pearls -approximately 650 pearls. 5mm in size -- 3/16 inch. For decorative use only.  Packaged in a food-safe resealable bag and heat-sealed. Cannot be sold or shipped to California (if you add these dragees to your order and your shipping address is located in California, we'll sadly have to remove these sprinkles from your order and issue you a refund, we’re so sorry!) 5mm gold dragees can be very hard and could pose as a choking hazard to small children.
