These Looper Loom Kits from www.homesteadweaver.com are a fun and easy way to create custom potholders, rugs, coasters, purses, or whatever you can dream up! Great for kids and adults alike; no experience necessary. Each kit contains everything that you need to create 8 or more colorful potholders: Detailed instructions, a wooden looper loom (10"x 10" x 2"), a metal crochet hook, and ample sock loopers! Looper refills are available in a variety of colors. Metal weaving hooks are sold separately. Finished products are about 7"x 7" x 0.4". Loopers originate as a byproduct of the sock manufacturing process. By purchasing this looper loom kit you will be turning something that was destined for a landfill into beautiful and functional art. Be aware that some loops may have loose elastic or other irregularities - this should not influence the aesthetic quality or durability of the finished product. just pull the elastic out or clip the loose thread before weaving. It is important to handle the loops carefully when weaving so that the loops don't begin to unravel. Occasionally loops are too small to fit easily on the jumbo loom, but most can be carefully stretched, looped together to make a longer loop, or they can be used on one of the smaller traditional-size (7"-8") looms. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON LOOPS so contact us if there is any question whether they will fit on your existing loom. Our loops will fit on most large potholder looms with 20-22 pins which measure about 9" between the pins but are designed to go with the jumbo loom kit that we sell in our Store. The loops are high quality cotton blend yarn, and 0.5 pounds will make (on average) 3 potholders. We do not guarantee that our loops will fit on looms made by other companies. These looms are made from solid Indiana poplar wood with specially shaped metal pins to help hold the loops in place and prevent injury. Each loom is handmade with care right here in the United State and is built for durability and ease of use. While other kits come with a limited number of loops in limited colors, these kits include a generous supply of natural cotton blend loops.
