The main ingredient of BabyRice alginate is seaweed and all of our alginate conforms to British Safety Standards (BS 4269 Pt.2:1991) and ISO 1563:1990.Our alginate has a short working and quick setting time, so you don't have to hang around for long waiting for the alginate mould to set.Strong and durableEach family hand casting kit is supplied with Herculite II Plaster, a strong, white, stone casting plaster. Thanks to a fast setting time, Herculite II is the ideal material for 3D plaster casting.
