It is a pre-waxed braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene, which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has unbelievably high tensile strength. It will fit a #12 English beading needle. Made in America by Berkley, a well-respected company in the fishing industry, and distributed by The Beadsmith. We recommend cutting Fireline with a flush cutter. Fireline is not intended to be used with crimp beads.
