The Lapis Lazuli version of the GW GemPen has been the most widely requested gemstone to be used in this series. The pen material is acrylic acetate with a section made of the incredibly warm resin juma. Although the pen body has a taper and can post, this is really for aesthetics. The pen has better center of balance without the cap posted. The cap features the namesake of the piece, a rollstop made from a highly polished Lapis Lazuli gemstone cabochon set in fine silver. The centerband at the base of the cap is .925 sterling silver. Included is a professional grade jewelry polishing cloth to keep everything looking like new. Most importantly is the nib. Each pen uses a JoWo #6 nib in your choice of finish and tip size (please let me know your preference during checkout) that has been tuned to write perfectly from the start.
