Hinoki Lidded Boxes

The basic form and finger joint construction of the traditional Japanese masu (square wooden sake cup) is repurposed in this series of all-purpose lidded boxes. Made from sustainably harvested and lightly fragrant hinoki cypress wood, the boxes and trays can be stacked and combined as you wish. The lids are made from an opaque resin in a contrasting soft white. Use them to display small items in the bathroom, office, or for jewelry and watches. Handmade in Japan.
