Thanks to this unique technology, you will save on additional stabilizer and fabric for hooping while enjoying the benefits of freearm embroidery with larger projects. Moreover, the ergonomic twist-lock mechanism lets you hoop your projects with even more ease. Close the hoop by turning the twist-lock until you hear a distinct click. Due to the size limitations on some BERNINA embroidery systems, this hoop wI’ll have a 10mm reduction in hoop space work area with BERNINA 5 Series machines (new generation only, not B 560, B 570 (the one without dual feed), and B 580 machines.  Firmware updates to your BERNINA 5, 7, and 8 Series machines may be necessary CLICK HERE to order a USB stick with the latest firmware   UPDATE for older 7 and 8 Series models TBD.
