The binding is double-wire, and the covers are both very heavyweight chipboard. You can flip the front around back and create a working surface for the field or the subway. There's also a pocket in the back of each Art Book, perfect for storing postcards and travel tickets.
Montval is Canson's best-selling watercolor paper, with a 25% cotton composition that offers a nice blend of strength, wet performance, and surface smoothness. Erasing, scrubbing, and washes will all work on this portable Montval book, so you can take your top technique anywhere.
