This listing is for the complete set of all the granulating watercolor paints by Schmincke Horadam. You will receive a customized wooden, magnetic box with all 50 colors filled to the brim, 3M magnets on the bottom of the pans, 10 custom color reference cards, and 10 Arches watercolor paper samples to swatch your own paints. This set is an affordable option to add all the paints to your own collection, a unique Artist gift, or a high quality starter pack for a new artist. Over 5 days I fill and pack the pans in layers to prevent cracking and large bubbles from forming. This ensures you are getting a nice, filled pan to play and create with. Please be aware micro bubbles are normal and will not effect the quality of your paint. These watercolors contain a combination of naturally granulating pigments which separate and settle into the paper surface for textural effects. While the pigment will still granulate on a smooth paper the appearance will be different from that on rough paper. The more pits and pockets on the surface for the pigment to collect in, the more dramatic the contrast. ⚠️ To keep your paint clean make sure to close the pallet lid AFTER the water evaporates.
