It has been used by African women for generations to stretch their natural hair without heat as it retains moisture in the hair for soft, shiny hair even after several days. Whether used for braiding or blowing out, this thread will leave hair soft, well moisturized and allow frizzy hair to be straightened by naturally stretching it to its true length when you remove the braids. In addition, the Anango Thread is economical as it can be reused several times and promotes hair growth. How to do African threading on natural hair? - Get a comb, some hair moisturiser, some AmoikonStore black thread. -Comb the hair -Divide the hair into Multiple sections -Using clips or rubber bands, secure each of the sections of hair except the one on which you plan to work first. -Moisturise the section you are about to thread. -Taking one metre of double black thread in your right hand, hold the section of hair firmly at the scalp between your left thumb and forefinger. -Having anchored the end if the thread by twisting it around the hair at the scalp, wind the thread clockwise around the section of hair, working your way gradually towards the hair ends. -When you reach the tip of the hair ends, knot the thread securely two or three times so that it does not unravel. Cut off the end of the thread -Repeat the same process with each of the parted section until all of the hair have been threaded. -To keep the hair neat, wrap the head with a scarf at bedtime.
