Information we collect

Depending on how you use the sites, we may collect:

  • Information submitted through quote, contact, and order forms, including your name, email address, company, mailing volumes, and mailing descriptions.
  • Documents and mailing lists that customers upload for print-and-mail services.
  • Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and pages visited.

Why we use information

We use information to prepare quotes, fulfil mailing orders, provide proof of mailing and delivery records, respond to enquiries, improve the sites, and meet legal, postal, accounting, and compliance obligations.

Customer documents and mailing lists

Documents and address lists are used solely to fulfil the mailing service you request. We do not sell them or use them to build advertising audiences. Mailing proofs, USPS acceptance scans, tracking events, delivery confirmations, and signature records are retained in the compliance archive so the sender can retrieve proof when it is needed.

When we share information

We may share the information needed to mail and track an item with the United States Postal Service and delivery partners. We may also share information with service providers that process data on our behalf, such as hosting, security, communications, payment, and document-processing providers.

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or postal regulation, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers, users, or the public. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the sites, remember preferences, understand site use, and improve the customer experience. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some site features may not work as intended if you block necessary cookies.

Data retention

Mailing records are maintained in a 10-year compliance archive. The archive may include mailing proofs, USPS acceptance scans, tracking events, delivery confirmations, and signature records supplied by USPS or a delivery partner. Other information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, business records, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and privacy requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification. To make a request, contact us at garyb@certified-mail-envelopes.com, call 800-406-1792, or write to 950 Celebration Blvd. Suite A, Celebration, FL 34747. Depending on where you live and the nature of your request, additional state privacy rights may apply.

Children, changes, and legal review

The sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above identifies the current version, and material changes may be posted on the sites.

This is a general privacy policy for information practices. It should be reviewed by the company’s legal counsel before being relied upon for a particular legal, regulatory, or contractual requirement.
